Bill Nugent Promoted to Sales Manager
Regional Steel Products, Inc proudly announces the promotion of Bill Nugent to Sales Manager.
Bill has worked for Regional Steel since 1991 in outside sales and has an established history of developing strong relationships with customers, expanding new marketing areas, and proving that customer service is at the very heart of our business.
When asked what his number one priority was as the new sales manager, Bill replied, "...building strong relationships with our employees and customers and making sure that we are all working together to make each other successful". Bill further added that he believes we have an inside sales team that is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality steel products to our customers. He also complemented our warehouse workers and fleet by saying that they follow through on our commitments and promises to our customers.
Bill's promotion into sales manager brings a fresh, new, customer-service-oriented perspective to the sales manager position. He is dedicated to treating customers with respect and helping them to develop and build their businesses.

Regional Steel Awarded Safety Excellence Award
For the second consecutive year, Regional Steel Products, Inc. was awarded the "Safety Excellence" award by the Contractors Safety Council of the Coastal Bend.
This award represents 80,000 hours worked in 2010 with 0 injuries, 0 lost time injuries, and 0 OSHA recordable injuries.
Ryan Berg, warehouse supervisor, received the award personally on behalf of Regional Steel. "I am honored to accept the Safety Excellence Award. This award is a credit to the dedication of our entire company's commitment to safety. We have made safety our number on priority and our first core value", Berg stated at the ceremony.
According to the award, it recognizes outstanding efforts to provide a safe workplace and make continuous improvements in safety management and performance.

Congratulations to Regional Steel Products, Inc truck drivers for recently passing a major milestone in safe operations-1,000,000 safe miles!
